COMPETITION SITE ANNOUNCED
With the shifting sands of Hossegor-Seignosse giving event organizers plenty to think about over the past weeks and months, scouts, spies and surf savants have delivered their sand bank intelligence and the official call has been made: Seignosse Le Penon will host the Swatch Girls Pro France 2013!
Le Penon, located at the north end of Seignosse has consistently had the best peaks in the region over the past few months, with a classic right and left set-up offering up delicious tapering walls throughout the tide. With a slight kink in the coast at Le Penon and a series of jetties to help the all-important sand build up, the World’s finest female surfers will soon be sampling the sweet peaks that locals have been scoring right through the spring and early summer. “Le Penon has always been one of the classic spots on the coast,” reckoned Swatch Proteam surfer Pauline Ado. “I’ve had some really memorable sessions out there down the years so I’m really stoked that we’ll get to have the contest up there this year.”
