The first ever women’s Tuaca ASP 6* longboard event went down in Newquay last week, pitting the world’s top longboarders against each other, including Newquay native Candice O’Donnell.

Former covergirl Jen Smith dominated the final against Australian charger Georgia Young, scoring a succession of sweet waves and demonstrating plenty of skill with her crowd-pleasing nose rides and rail carving.  Testy conditions were the order of the day during the week, and Georgia Young was finding it tricky to find waves that would beat Jen’s high scores.  Jen was clearly stoked with her victory, her first European title.  No doubt there’s a few sore heads in Newquay today!
