Burning Ink in Istanbul
After their stop in London last year, DC’s unique tattoo art show is heading on to Istanbul from March 29th – April 12th, where the fine arts of tattoo artists ROROFROSE, Dramatik and ILHAN Bilir will be showcased – and burnt if no flesh is found to be inked with it! Going down in the MILK Gallery in the hot Beyoglu area, this show is sure to attract an slightly more interesting crowd than regular art events and has invited a whole array of additional artists including Dave Kinsey (USA), Rostarr (USA), Xghetto (Mexico), SSUR (USA/Russia), Jeykill (France), Marke Newton (UK), Funkfu (Czech Republic), Fos (UK), Chloé Trujillo (France/USA), Pablo Iglesias (Spain), Prunelle (France), 123klan (France), Amélie du Petit Thouars (France), Clyde Barrow (UK), French (UK), Spoe (France), Timothée Talard (France), Ilk (France), SBTG (Singapur) and many more.
Sprawled across the European and the Asian continent, Istanbul has to be among the most fascinating metropolises in Europe and is without question worth the trip if you haven’t been there before – and the snow isn’t that far either and quite fun to play with, as the Roxy girls and also the Lipstick crew have experienced already.
