How much is the Cooler iPad app?

The App itself is free to download from the Newsstand App Store, but you will need to pay for magazine issues or subscriptions.


How do I get the Cooler iPad app?

You can download the app on your iPad from the App Store or from iTunes.


What do I get with the Cooler iPad app?

The app allows you to download and view issues of Coolers's iPad edition. You can also purchase single issues, back issues, or subscriptions from within the app.


What editorial content is included in the Cooler iPad edition?

The iPad edition contains everything that is in the print edition. Some issues also have added extras, such as videos, interviews as well as interactive maps and links.


Will the app run on my iPhone/Android/BlackBerry smartphone?

It will run on the iPhone but not currently any devices using the Android operating system. We have plans to release an Android version in 2012, keep checking back to see when we launch.


How am I notified when the latest issue is available to download?

Yes, you'll receive a push notification as soon as the latest edition is ready for download.


Can I share issues I purchased from my iPad app with a friend?

Yes, you can share any of the magazines that you purchase. Use the share tab within the App to give your copy to a friend. They will also need to sign up and download the App to receive the issue. If the issue is not returned to you within 30 days we will automatically return it so that you can share it with other friends. If you share an issue you will not be able to access it until the copy is returned.

Can I subscribe to the iPad edition of Cooler without buying a print subscription?

Yes. We're pleased to offer iPad-only subscriptions, please check the Newsstand App Store for the latest offers and prices.


Can I subscribe to the Cooler iPad edition from my iPad?

Yes. You can buy a subscription within the App once you have downloaded it.


How are subscriptions renewed?

If you buy a subscription through the App Store or your iTunes account, your subscription with Apple will automatically renew until you cancel it. If the price increases your subscription will automatically stop and you will need to subscribe again to keep receiving Cooler.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Your subscription will automatically renew until you cancel it through your iTunes account. If you'd like to turn off auto-renew, you can do so by changing your settings in iTunes.


I already have a print subscription to Cooler. Does it include access to the iPad edition?

No, unfortunately it doesn't, due to the way Apple currently operate we are unable to link your subscription details with your Apple account.


Single-Issue Purchases

Can I buy single issues of Cooler on the iPad without subscribing?

Yes. You can buy the latest issue, or any of the back issues from the last two years, it does work out cheaper to subscribe though.
