Yoga Home Practice for Wintersport - Get Shred Ready!

Yoga is one of the best means to get yourself shred ready. It not only prepares the body, bones and muscles with various strengthening and lengthening exercises, but also trains the mind to focus, balance, and stay calm in all situations.

So to make sure you’re all at your very best when you first get to hit the snow this year, our German-ed-turned-yoga-teacher has put together the perfect sequence to get you in shape!

And since everything just flows that little bit smoother with proper inspiration, the whole sequence was shot in front of the perfect winter backdrop in a little Bavarian forest. So instead of a boring description of the poses, we’ve put together an inspiring gallery with the instructions as captions! Click through to get an idea what to expect or simply get started and turn the pages, erh images as you go.

Please make sure to properly warm up before you start though! Preferably with a couple of rounds of Surya Namaskar (Sun Salutations) – if you’re not familiar you can find instructions here or here.

With a bit of yoga experience you can obviously try some of the poses on your next walk or in your favourite nature spot – just make sure you have tried them before and are absolutely confident with their execution as we will not take any liability for any mishaps!
